Remember to deactivate the camera whenever you enter the hole. Keep walking east until you find a jetty.Use your grappling hook to descend from the wall.Cut through the fence with your cutters.Walk westward along the pipes connecting the two small buildings.You will see a moderately sized room with a prisoner stash and ladder in it protected by a staff door. Get round to the south of the prison where you will see a fence with a staff door.Walk to the pipes that are couple metres north of you when you get on the roof.At lights out, place the bed dummy on your bed, get all your equipment and head to the ladder in the vents.Cut all the slats that are east of you until you reach the small room with a ladder and a Prisoner Stash.you should make multiple fake vent covers in case the first one breaks. Once you've cut through the cover, replace it with a fake one.You can do this with a tube of toothpaste, Shaving Cream, or, if need be, a Roll of Duct Tape. Remember to cover up the camera while you are cutting the vent.

Much like the real Alcatraz, HMP-Irongate is located on an island, meaning the player will need to buy or find Balsa Wood to craft a Makeshift Raft in order to escape The prison is easier to escape in the Console and Mobile versions. In all other versions they still use Batons.Įvery cell (except in mobile) includes a camera at the back wall. The prison holds 17 prisoners (yourself included), has 10 Guards, has an electric fence around the prison, and in the computer edition all guards carry special one-hit-kill weapons called Stun Rods.

This prison has the tightest schedule out of any prison in the game (Excluding custom prisons which could potentially have the same schedule.) Having only one free period which is only one game-hour long and a very early lights out. However, it could also be styled after one of the British maximum security prisons, as the “HMP” in its name implies (Her Majesty’s Prison). It is styled after Alcatraz, a famous prison from the 1950s. HMP-Irongate is one of the maps present in the main game.
